2022.01.19 10:00 Libtertarian13yo desgin patterns applied to use cases?

so, I've been reading the "Game Programming Patterns" books and it was really easy to learn them, specially since I loved C++ and videogames
But now I have to study to get ready for a job that is not in C++ but in webdev, and I'm looking for books or articles that explain these patterns, but applied to realistic use cases with code

2022.01.19 10:00 Spookydoobydooo They got me good

So I was being a drunk and horny idiot and sent pics to this “girl” and got the same message we all have. Pay me money or else I send it to all your friends and family. Freaking out and not finding this Reddit I didn’t want my mom or sister ending up with a picture of my thing in my hand. (Luckily didn’t send any with my face). So I sent the money. This guy now has my full name and phone number. I’ve deleted all of my social media blocked all the accounts. Told my girlfriend what happened and she actually helped calm me down and walk me through it (I know I’m a POS). But honestly at this point I’m not scared of this dude after reading the Reddit posts, I’m going to continue to block any attempt at contact and move on with my life. I didn’t send him any “full face selfies” they kept asking for and the nudes I sent are just of my crotch. I don’t care if he leaks it or who he sends it to. This dudes not getting one more cent out of me.

2022.01.19 10:00 Crypto-Altcoins Opera Launches Web 3 Browser With Built-in Non-Custodial Wallet

Opera Launches Web 3 Browser With Built-in Non-Custodial Wallet The popular multi-platform web browser Opera has unveiled its “Crypto Browser Project” meant to offer users direct access to Web 3 services across multiple networks. The project's beta version is already available with a built-in non-custodial wallet for Windows, Mac, and Android users. In a press release shared with, Opera detailed that the project will enable users to easily browse decentralized apps (dapps), crypto games, and metaverse platforms. The browser also has a crypto news and data aggregator, dubbed “Crypto Corner,” which would provide news, prices, and gas fees, as well as other relevant information for crypto users. “Opera’s Crypto Browser Project promises a simpler, faster, more private Web 3 experience for users," Jorgen Arnesen, EVP Mobile at Opera, was quoted as saying. "It simplifies Web 3 user experience that is often bewildering for mainstream users. Opera believes Web 3 has to be easy to use for the decentralized web to reach its full potential." The browser boasts more than 380 million users worldwide, thanks to its no-login VPN (virtual private network) and native ad and tracker blocker. Besides these, the new crypto browser aims to add more features like direct access to decentralized exchanges (DEXes), non-fungible token (NFT) and gaming dapps, as well as integrated Telegram and Twitter support. While its built-in non-custodial wallet will only support Ethereum (ETH) in beta, Opera said that they plan to extend interoperability across popular blockchains through partnerships with Polygon (MATIC), Solana (SOL), Nervos, and major naming systems Unstoppable Domains, Handshake, and ENS. Notably, the crypto world has a blockchain-based decentralized browser called Brave, which comes with its own native token BAT. Just earlier this month, the browser hit 50m in monthly active users.

2022.01.19 10:00 ShareInternational74 Getting a little burned out on arise

I just finished lenegis, met hevrekt the crew, and now am completing Rena. I completed most all side quest save for the wedge locations. And completed the advanced training grounds - I main alphen and feel like there is only so much you can do with your character at this point in the game (I’ve got about 90 hours longed - yeah I’ve taken it real slow) but honestly I just want it to be done and move on to another game. How close am I to the ending, is the optional remaining dungeons(the wedge locations worth it?) I really love the game and the hours of enjoyment it has offered me but I’m feeling like it is getting a little repetitive at this point

I've got a pet little theory about that. You see, if you go back in history and take every president, you'll find that the numerical value of each letter in their last name was equally divisible into the year in which they were elected. I figured it out. By my calculations, the next president has to be named Yelnik McWawa.
