2021.10.24 19:20 fpsholly Husband cannot forgive himself after having sex with me while I was asleep even when I told him that I don't care
Last Friday I got home early from work because I was feeling really bad, I'm in my second trimester of pregnancy and nausea can sometimes be horrible. The point is that my other kids were with my sister and my husband and I decided to take a nap, and it has been a long time since we spent time alone so we decided to enjoy that time, but I was a little tired and when he decided to go downstairs to pick some things to eat I fell asleep.
And the next thing I know is that when I woke up he was masturbating me, but I didnt do anything, I just stood there with my eyes closed and I let him do what he wanted because I was really tired to do something, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't enjoying it, because to be honest I really liked it. And when I cum I cried but I cried because I really enjoyed it, but he thought I was crying because I didn't like what he did and he started to apologize and say he was a horrible person for doing that, so I told him I liked it and he said "you say it just so I don't feel bad." and he said that I never said that I liked him to wake me up with sex, something that he did tell me and that I did a few times, but for me it didn't matter, I liked it and that's all, it wasn't that bad because anyway I do like him to wake me up with sex, I just never told him.
And since then he cannot forgive himself and is acting as if he had done something wrong, I know him and I know that he is a very correct person and that he would never do something without asking the other person first, but he thinks that I lied and said that I liked it because he knows me and he knows that I would never say or do something to make other people feel bad. I know it's a matter of miscommunication, and that we both should have cleared this up earlier, but sadly we didn't, and that's why now I want to fix this.
Has something like this happened to any of you? If so, how could you fix your relationship after that?

2021.10.24 19:19 littleopossumuwu [XBOX] Story game where you help save the world?
Hello, this is a very vague post because my memory is awful. I remember this story game I played with my friend in 2016-2018. The character were little small things where you could chose a head(square, circle, star, triangle), hats, and other things. The narrator I think had a top hat, monoclonal, and a mustache. The vibe was very 20's when they would show short clips. I think that the world was being taken over by an evil guy. If I'm not mistaken the villian was actually the top hat guy. It was multi-player if you wanted it to be, there was a story mode and you had to work together. The lobby had all the levels and higher levels were on a higher floor. I know you could also make your own levels. There was also a spare room in the lobby where you could buy things I think. The top hat guy would appear in a hot air balloon or something. Sorry if this is vague and all over the place!

2021.10.24 19:19 NotThe--FBI Scottish Independence should be treated for what it is, yes, sedition
With the Capitol Insurrection in the US lead by far-right terrorists and seditionists, egged on by many government members, we as a world need to clamp down on seditious elements in our society who seek to destroy and replace our strong and healthy democracies.
Scottish Independence is no different. It is a right-wing attempt to destroy British Democracy and enforce conservative viewpoints. Sedition has no place in a modern world.
People who want Scottish independence need to be locked up and tried for their sedition against our democracy, Scottish independence may encourage more right wing sedition and validate the QANuts, GQP, and Seditionists.
Fuck the Scottish Seditionists.

2021.10.24 19:19 namkcuR A Defense Of Manchester(Parts 1&2)
I've always felt that, of the four Sorkin premieres, Manchester is the one that doesn't get as much love as the others.
The Pilot is where it all started; In The Shadow Of Two Gunmen is one of the peaks of the entire series and a bookend of what is thought by most to be its greatest season; and 20 Hours In America is what some might call a victory-in-premise, the West Wing version of City Slickers, executed flawlessly, and home to one of the series' comedic high points, the Time Zones scene.
It just seems like Manchester doesn't seem to get the same level of praise. I'm not entirely sure why - maybe it's just too tall an order to be the episode that has to follow Two Cathedrals - but I think it's a brilliant piece of writing.
The much (and rightfully) celebrated five-episode stretch that closes out Season 2 deals with Bartlet's staff - after learning the news - putting all of their energy into how the public is going to react to the news the the President lied about his illness and how that news should be delivered to said Public. In order to do their jobs, the staff has to swallow their own personal feelings about Bartlet having kept this from them and having put them in this position. But they do all have feelings about it - as evidenced by Toby's monologue in 17 People and Sam's "Some of us have had more time than others" outburst to Leo in Two Cathedrals - and that's what Manchester is about. It's not very plot-heavy. It's about these characters and how they're dealing with their anger and frustration.
In her press conferences and briefings in both Manchester and Two Cathedrals, CJ looks more tired/agitated/frustrated/overwhelmed that at any other point in her time as Press Secretary. She's pissed she's having to face this gauntlet because of the President's actions, and it culminates with her big faux pas - that the President is "relieved to be focusing on something that matters" in reference to the potential military action in Haiti.
Toby and Sam take all of their anger out on Doug and Connie, fighting every line of the President's campaign announcement speech tooth and nail, complete with raised voices and thinly-veiled-if-at-all contempt for approach Doug wants to take.
Josh's frustration manifests itself both in an impulsively ill-timed press release that, as is pointed out to him by Bruno, could've helped more if released at the right time and in a more calculated function, and in frustration towards Leo for not letting him kill and impending EPA announcement scheduled for the same day as the campaign event.
This is all tied together in several scenes.
One is with Sam and Connie; there has been a debate all episode long about whether or not the President should apologize in his speech, and Connie tells Sam "I think you want him to apologize, and not just for political reasons."
The second is when Abbey tells Bartlett that he needs to reach out to the staff, that once he does that, they'll feel better.
The third is Doug, in imo his greatest moment on the show, spelling it out for Toby in the bluntest of terms:
"You guys are so pissed at him you don't even know it. You're more pissed at him than the press is. You're more pissed at him than the party is. You're so pissed at him you're pissed at me. 'Cause if he hadn't lied, you could've run the campaign you always wanted to run instead of a bunch of people coming in here and teaching you how not to bother anybody. I never drank the Kool-Aid, Toby. I came to win, and you're so pissed at him that you can't even admit that for the last two weeks, you've gone to sleep at night thanking God that I did."
Finally, the episode concludes with the classroom scene in which Bartlet finally does apologize to his staff for causing all of this. This is the beginning of a shift for him; up to this point, he tended to get annoyed or irritated when he sensed those around him being upset with him about the MS lie, but from here on out, he starts to own it more, and this culminates in "H.Con-172" when he tells Leo that the reason to agree to censure was that "I was wrong".
So I think it's just a great piece of character-driven writing, with a healthy does of great stand-alone moments:
Joey giving Josh crap for leaving her behind in the rain.
Toby comically getting fed up with everyone successively making the point he already made regarding the need to put a new poll in the field.
Sam telling Connie that it seems like her job is to wait until Doug leaves the room and then say "what Doug really meant was...".
Bruno's "Or so help me God, I will stick a pitchfork so far up your asses, you will, quite simply, be dead."
Bartlet saying "I need you too" to CJ as a way telling her that her resignation won't be necessary and that he wants her to stay.
Bartlet saying "It's not our job to pander to the lowest common denominator, it's our job to raise it."
And I know Abbey can be polarizing, but I loved her telling Bartlet off, as it illustrates the fact that she's the only one who's allowed to be openly pissed at him while everyone else has to swallow it:
"I don't believe you. You go from 'I've got a lot to say' to 'I can't say it right now because I've got so much to say' to 'I gotta read, I've got agriculture' and 'you're not with me' and go to hell...Now that's an extraordinary evolution!"
Anyway, I think it's one of the great episodes of the series and every bit as deserving of the praise Sorkin's other premieres get.
